All students are working on writing their D.A.R.E. Essays.  These will be completed and read in class.  If students are absent, or do not get done with the assignment for that day, then they can see the set-up of the essay in Schoology, under Writing.  See their planner for which section we are currently working on in class.

Our current topic for Social Studies is "Economics".  You will find a copy of the notes in Schoology, under Social Studies.  Please use this to study for the assessment, which will be before Winter Break.  An exact date will be given later, so please check planners every night.

The dates listed below are guidelines for keeping students on track with meeting their individual reading goals.  These goals will be determined after the initial STAR assessment is given at the beginning of September.  Because these goals are based on individual academic performance, the goals will vary from one student to another.  If you have questions about these goals, or how they are set, please contact Mrs. Alexander at any time to discuss further.

A.R. Goal #1 met by - Friday, September 16th *All students were asked to read a fiction chapter book between the A.R. levels of 4.0 and 6.0 for this first goal only.
