Business Advisory Council (BAC)

The Westerville City School District benefits greatly from the many rich partnerships we have formed with business and community leaders throughout central Ohio.  The valuable ideas and feedback they have generated throughout the years have allowed us to create engaging learning experiences for students and staff, as well as develop a rigorous and relevant curriculum that propels students to graduate from our system college and career ready.

Members of the Business Advisory Council:

  • advise the school district on changes in the economy and job market and the area in which future jobs are most likely to be available;
  • advocate for the employment skills most critical to business and industry and the development of curriculum to teach these skills;
  • aid and support the district by offering suggestions for developing a working relationship among businesses, labor organizations, and educators.

If you are interested in joining our district's Business Advisory Council, please contact Matt Misener, Director of Career and College Pathways at MisenerM@wcsoh.org or 614-797-5788.
