Math

There is a lot to learn in Math as a 2nd Grader! In order to have success on the Ohio Achievement Assessment, students need to have confidence in the following areas:
 
1. Number, Number Sense, and Operations
  • Number and Operation in Base Ten (place value through 1000, skip counting to 1000, comparing 3 digit numbers with <, >, =)

2. Measurement

  • Measurement and Data (length, time, money, graphs)

3. Geometry

  • Geometry (shapes, fractions)

4. Data Analysis and Probability

  • Draw, read, and interpret graphs

5. Patterns, Functions, and Algebra

  • Algebraic Thinking (math facts, even and odd, 2 step word problems)
