Late December during physical education class our students wrote a friendly letter to the USA Winter Olympic Athletes. As of now 20 students have received a letter back from their athlete. Some students have received autographed pictured, bio cards, and stickers. It has been a wonderful lesson. I love seeing their faces when I call them down and give them their letter. If you get a chance pop into the gym and take a look at our athlete wall. You can see all the letters the students have received.

The Winter Olympics will begin February 6th. I hope you enjoy watching the winter events. Our students will get a chance to try a few of the winter events in PE class, with some modifications of course :)
