Those attending the commencement ceremonies for Westerville City Schools’ three high schools on May 27 at the Celeste Center on the Ohio State Fairgrounds should be prepared for heavy traffic around the area.
The Historica Crew Stadium, located just north of the Celeste Center, is hosting the Sonic Temple Art and Music Festival at the same time.
To ensure a smooth traffic flow around the area, Westerville families are recommended to use the 11th Ave exit on I-71 (Exit 110B) for both northbound and southbound directions. Those coming from I-71 should travel westbound on 11th Ave towards Ohio Gate (Gate 8) to enter the parking areas.
Drivers coming from the west campus area should also travel eastbound on 11th Ave towards Ohio Gate (Gate 8). Please note that the 17th Ave will be closed for the concert and will not be accessible for the graduation ceremony.
Once inside the gate, graduation attendees should follow the signs to their designated parking area. Designated ADA parking will be available. Signs will be posted to direct cars to that area.
