Alcott Principal Earl Rahm was duct taped to the wall on November 2.

It is not every day that students get the opportunity to duct tape their principal to a wall, but that is exactly what happened at Alcott Elementary School on Friday afternoon, November 2.  As a reward for raising more than $13,000 during the walk-a-thon fundraiser, Principal Earl Rahm said each of the children in his building could have a long piece of duct tape to assist in the effort.  By the end of the day, Rahm was fastened securely and colorfully to the gymnasium wall, much to the delight of his pupils.  Money raised from the fundraiser will be used to enhance the educational experience of youngsters at Alcott.
