Westerville North’s Justin Hrinko Signs Letter of Intent to Play Baseball for Otterbein

Friends and family gathered at Westerville North High School on May 11 to celebrate Justin Hrinko signing his “letter of intent” with Otterbein University.  He is excited to move on to the next stage of his life and pursue a Nursing degree from Otterbein and to continue playing baseball for the Cardinals.  Hrinko has been a three-year starter and letterman for the varsity Warrior baseball team and a Scholar Athlete all four years of high school.  He excelled both on and off the field, serving as a Junior Mentor and receiving several academic awards during his high school career, and continues to make his academics a priority.  Hrinko received the Warrior Award his freshman year and has been elected team captain as a senior for the Warrior baseball team.  He also played basketball during his freshman year for Westerville North and for the Columbus Cobras travel baseball program coached by Eric Robbins.  Hrinko graduates May 27 with honors.
