On January 22 the Westerville South High School Media Center was filled with scientific inquiry and communication as International Baccalaureate (IB) students presented the findings of their Group 4 Science Projects.  IB subject areas are grouped by content area, and Group 4 pertains to the experimental sciences.

At this symposium, fellow students, parents, community members, teachers and building and district administrators browsed through 15 unique group table presentations of in depth study of a science topic of their choice.  Student groups were composed of a mix of students from the various IB Courses at South (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).  This student-centered program is just one of many ways Westerville South’s IB Program provides opportunities for pupils to create, collaborate and communicate their ideas in the learning process.
