The Westerville High School Class of 1970 reunion is fast approaching. Reunion planners are trying to reach as many fellow graduates as possible.
The event will begin on Friday, August 21, with an icebreaker from 7:00-11:00 p.m. upstairs at the Old Bag of Nails in Westerville. Cost is $5 per person in advance, or $7 at the door. Casual attire is recommended and light appetizers will be available, along with a cash bar.
On Saturday, August 22, attendees are invited to gather at the Columbus Square Bowling Palace from noon until 2:00 p.m. Cost is $7 per bowler, to be paid to the Palace Lanes, and spectators will be welcomed at no charge to “come and have a good laugh.”
That same evening, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight, a buffet dinner (with a cash bar) will be held at the Little Bear Golf Club in Lewis Center. Cost is $40 per person. A group picture will be taken.
A block of rooms has been reserved for out-of-towners at the Comfort Inn North/Polaris and Hilton Garden Inn on Lyra Drive in Columbus.
