Students at Hanby Elementary had a lot of questions for Meteorologist Marschall McPeek.

April 30 was a big day for students at Hanby Elementary School.  Not only did ABC6/FOX28 Meteorologist Marschall McPeek stop in to talk about weather, some of them got to appear that evening on the local broadcast.

McPeek is a longtime Central Ohio meteorologist and journalist.  He grew up in Bucyrus and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ohio University’s Honors College with a degree in journalism.  He received his meteorology training from Mississippi State University and has earned the American Meteorological Society’s prestigious designation as a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist.  When he’s not staring at radar or being mesmerized by passing clouds, McPeek said he enjoys exploring the back roads of Central Ohio and meeting the interesting people who make this “one of the most fascinating places in the country.”
