The promise that they would get to turn Mark Twain Elementary School Principal Vicki Moss into an ice cream sundae motivated students to raise more than $11,000 during their annual Walk-a-Thon.  Pupils walked to earn money for their school, got some exercise, and fostered friendships and school spirit.  A DJ was on hand to add to the fun and help keep them moving.  The school staff expressed appreciation to all the volunteers and donors for their efforts in making this event a rousing success.
