The Center of Science and Industry (COSI) brought its traveling program, “Current Conditions” to Hanby Magnet School on Wednesday, January 21.  The day began with an interactive assembly introducing the students to air pressure, cloud formation, warm and cold fronts, and extreme weather.  Hands-on activities followed during which time students tested their forecasting skills, examined the process of hail formation, and experimented with tools of the meteorological trade.

COSI On Wheels programs align with Ohio Academic Content Standards and compliments National Science Education Standards.  “Current Conditions” is made possible through the generous support of sponsor Target.
