Westerville North High School sophomore Kennedy Boswell was named a winner in Otterbein University’s fourth annual Martin Luther King Multimedia, Essay and Arts Contest.  The annual competition allows high school students to showcase their talents through art, essays, poetry or multimedia submissions.

The 2014-15 theme was Race Amity: The Hidden Tradition. Students were asked to interpret race amity by offering work that showed how it has positively impacted their lives, families, friends and/ or community.

Boswell was recognized at a reception following Otterbein's Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation on Tuesday, Jan. 20. All student submissions were on display in Roush Hall’s Fisher Gallery, when her placement was announced.
