Once again this year, the annual Alcott Elementary School food drive for the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM) was a huge success.  Spearheaded by Mike Mazzon’s fifth grade students, the Alcott community collected 3,369 pounds of food for families in need.  Fifth grade pupils counted, sorted and boxed the items as a classroom project.  The class collecting the largest number of items received a pizza party, but the ultimate reward was knowing that the food collected would help fill the tables of many area families needing help.
