Each November the Central Ohio community comes together to celebrate National Philanthropy day by honoring the people and organizations in our community who have touched the lives of others through their philanthropic intent.  The celebration is presented by the Central Ohio Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.  This year, Westerville Central High School freshman Jacob Glorioso and Walnut Springs Middle School eighth grade student Katerini Soisson will receive the 2013 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award.  The pair, along with other award winners, will be honored at a luncheon on November 26 at the Columbus Renaissance Downtown Hotel.

Glorioso and Soisson were nominated by the Westerville Area Resource Ministry for Children Supporting Children, a non-profit program they founded to provide seasonal items to local children in need and collect food for the hungry.
