On Wednesday, February 20, the Wilder Elementary Fifth Grade Team held its second annual Ohio Achievement Assessment (OAA) supper.  After a light meal, students and parents went upstairs to fifth grade classrooms and Wilder's computer lab for OAA breakout sessions.   Parents were taught test taking strategies and web addresses to utilize with their children. Teachers worked with the fifth graders on OAA prep using technology in the computer lab.  For the last few minutes of the evening, fifth grade teachers, parents, and students worked together to share what they learned during their individual sessions.  This event was so successful that the Wilder Staff plans to continue to make it a fifth grade tradition.  Attendees said it was a wonderful combination of food, fellowship, education, and fun.
