Three local students have been selected to receive Honda-OSU Partnership Math Medal Awards – Ryan Kesserling, Westerville Central; Peter Sandvik, Westerville North; and Matthew Phillips, Westerville South. They were nominated as their school’s best math students, based on academic performance in mathematics through the end of their junior year. They will be recognized at a breakfast ceremony at Honda of America Manufacturing in Marysville on Thursday morning, November 1. The award includes a $100 gift card and the opportunity to apply for a $3,000 scholarship at The Ohio State University College of Engineering, which is renewable for four years.

The Honda-OSU Partnership supports programs in education, research and public service that positively impact the transportation industry.
