55 Westerville South Students Inducted into National Honor Society

Friends, faculty and family members gathered at Westerville South High School on Wednesday evening, March 23, to watch and celebrate as 55 students were inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS).

NHS President Dhillon Welsh welcomed the crowd by listing service projects and activities the group completed, and thanking the Class of 2016 for doing their part to make these events possible.  He also imparted some wisdom for the incoming seniors.  “Our advice to you for your upcoming year is to take advantage.  This is your time to make a lasting difference on this school and this community.  Take advantage of this opportunity and get the most you can out of being part of this organization,” he advised.  “Being part of something bigger than yourself is a unique experience.  In truth, it doesn’t really take more than a single caring individual to change the world, but a group of such individuals can make a much greater impact.”

National Honor Society faculty advisor at Westerville South is Dave Schultz.  Induction ceremonies like this take place throughout the district.
