Westerville South recognized for facility design in national trade publication

The first phase of Westerville South High School’s renovation/addition project has been recognized by American School & University magazine for its innovative design.

The August 2021 issue is dedicated to an Educational Interiors Showcase, which casts a spotlight on school facility design and how they enhance learning and promote student success.

The first phase of the Westerville South project, designed by TRIAD Architects, was recognized as an Outstanding Design in classroom spaces. The project, which was completed in December 2020, included converting the auxiliary gym into classrooms and project-based learning spaces. 

American School & University is a national publication that informs education professionals on the latest trends, technologies and strategies that are driving the education facilities and business market. The publication also honors Education Design Excellence through industry-leading design competitions: Architectural Portfolio and Education Interiors Showcase.
