Westerville South High School is seeking highly dedicated and talented individuals to join its marching band.  Interested students who are heading to South in the fall, along with their parents and eighth graders, are invited to attend an informational meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, March 21, in the auditorium.  South is located at 303 South Otterbein Avenue.  Those who cannot attend the meeting but are still interested in learning more should see John Laswell in the band room, drop him a note in his teacher mailbox, call him at 614/797-6067, or e-mail Laswellj@wcsoh.org

Opportunities are available for all band students, along with those who play the guitar, bass guitar, and piano.  Flags and auxiliary participants are also sought, with no experience necessary.

“Let us show you what we’re all about, and see how we can help your student be a part of something that is amazing,” says Laswell.  “Friendships in band last a lifetime, and the skill sets our students learn create leaders for the future.”

At the meeting on March 21, all aspects of the program will be discussed, including details about a full competition schedule, rehearsal schedule, fee structure, and everything else that is offered for students.  The meeting will end with a 2019 show reveal.  “Trust us; you do not want to miss this!” says Laswell.
