The GEM Awards Program was created in 2004 and recognizes those who make a difference in the lives of students and consistently go above and beyond for students at each school in the Westerville School District. District awards are given to those who impact students across the school district as a whole and/or at more than one building.  Winners are announced in early March and honored at a special reception and BOE meeting in late April. Winners also receive a cut glass/etched trophy provided by Roush Honda.
