Westerville City Schools’ Preschool Program at the Early Learning Center hosted its first-ever Family Learning Night which offered parents a variety of resources to help support their child's development at home.

ELC staff and the school’s PTA planned the event, which provided information on different areas of development — social emotional, adaptive behavior, gross motor, fine motor and communication.

Westerville Public Library, Westerville Special Olympics, Kiwanis, Shirley's Popcorn, i9Sports, Westerville Parks and Rec were on hand at the event. Half-Price Books donated books while Lakeshore Learning Store provided bags for families. Otterbein students who are currently doing a placement at the ELC hosted a table where they showed an example of a chalk-drawn obstacle course.
