Students and staff at Wilder Elementary School spent all week celebrating Read Across America and Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Youngsters had to Drop Everything and Read at various times throughout the week and wore something fun every day.  Wednesday was Mystery Reader Day.  Every classroom had a parent, community or staff member come visit their classroom to share a book.  “It was fun to hear the students trying to guess who their mystery readers were all week,” said Principal Victoria Hazlett.  March 2, Dr. Seuss’ birthday, was the biggest day of the celebration:  it was pajama day, students engaged in a read-in, and Jeremy the Juggler came to entertain.
