It’s normally not advisable to call one’s principal a “clown,” but students at Robert Frost Elementary got a free pass to do so on Wednesday, October 23, when Principal Sarah Berka transformed herself into “Berko the Clown.”  She did so following a promise she made to pupils there, saying if they could raise at least $11,000 during the September 25 walk-a-thon, she would dress up in costume.  They raised $11,407.80, which will be used to fund the PTA’s budget for items like buses for field trips, family fun nights, landscaping projects, technology, and scholarships to high school seniors who attended Robert Frost.
