Shelley Pearsall, author of several young adult books, visited Huber Ridge Elementary School on May 9. She spoke at two assemblies in the Media Center for 4th and 5th grade students. Pearsall talked about her books, including Crooked River, All Shook Up, and the award-winning Trouble Don’t Last. Each child received a copy of her latest book, All of the Above, a story about four middle school students going for a world record for the largest tetrahedron and forming lasting friendships. Pearsall’s visit and books were sponsored by the librarians of the Westerville Public Library as part of Leadership Westerville.
