Huber Ridge is Seeing Green

Huber Ridge Elementary School held its annual Pennies for Patients drive in order to help find a cure for leukemia.  As an added incentive for students, many of the Huber Ridge staff agreed to wear green hair (painted or a wig) for a day if the school raised $2,000 for this great cause.  In the end, a donation of nearly $3,000 was made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by Huber Ridge. Why green hair?  Green is the official color in the fight against leukemia.
