In conversations with student well being staff this year, Westerville students said they need help managing stress, organizing their school work, and keeping track of their day-to-day activities.

In response, the district’s Office of Student Well Being and Mental Health launched a new webpage that features 11 videos with tips and strategies to help students manage stress and develop skills to manage their tasks.

Members of the Student Well Being Team, as well as a school psychologist, developed the bank of resources available on the site.

Tami Santa, coordinator, Student Well Being and Mental Health, said the videos offer easy and applicable tips that students and parents can implement immediately.

“If they need additional assistance, we have designated a person to be able to work with them 1-on-1 or in a small group setting,” she said.
