Hawthorne Students Receive Free Books at Back-to-School Days

Thanks to a generous donation by Half Price Books, students were able to pick out a couple of books to take home for free at Hawthorne's Back-to-School Days. This provided a wonderful activity for students as parents returned forms, paid school fees, and found out who their children will have this year for their home room teacher. Hawthorne's new third grade teacher, Katie Ensell, organized the event.
