Fouse Award: The Fouse Award is named after William H. Fouse who was the first black graduate of WCS and Otterbein. It is given to a student for demonstrating leadership, bravery, tolerance and respect, and making a positive impact. To nominate someone by the 11/11, visit leadershipwesterville.com.
Girls Lacrosse: We are in the weight room Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:45pm and on Saturdays in the Aux gym at 9am. We would love to have more girls join. For more info, see Coach Brandi in room 156.
Winter Play: Auditions for the winter play are literally right around the corner! Please use the QR code on the red flyers in locker street to sign up for an audition slot on either 10/17 or 10/18.

Mentoring: Big Warrior Little Warrior Mark Twain team can meet on 10/19 in the front lobby at 9:15. Bus leaves at 9:30! Fill out the lunch form on Schoology if you are buying lunch! See Mrs. Cameron or Mr. DeChant with questions.
Young Feminists: The Young Feminists Halloween Party is 10/17 after school. If you'd like to bring a treat, there's a signup sheet in Sra. Henman's room. See you there!
Broadcast Club: Keep working on gathering your 6-shots. Next meeting will be 10/24 & we'll edit the footage.
Interact Club: Interact Club is selling Boo Grams at lunch 10/19-10/27. Send a message and rubber duck to a friend! Delivered on Halloween. Proceeds go to The Open Shelter, a homeless shelter in Columbus.
DACC: Sophomores will attend an meeting with representatives from Columbus City Schools DACC on 10/18. There will be an chance to visit the Delaware Area Career Center on 11/18 .
Handshake America: Junior athletes can check out the Handshake America opportunity for scholarship and leadership opportunities posted to the 2024 cohort. Application deadlines are in November.
Senior Lunches: Seniors are encouraged to spend their lunch with the counselors on Wednesdays to get help on college and career applications or any other questions they may have. We’re here to help!
Fundraisers: There is a Football Dine Out Night at Cane's on 10/25, and a Booster Fundraiser at Rusty Bucket on 10/18.
Scholarships: Seniors interested in applying for the Heisman High School Scholarship can see information posted to the 2023 Schoology course. Deadline is 10/18.
