International Club: Students who want to learn about other cultures can join the International Club by attending the meeting on 9/21 at 2:15pm in room 113.  You can scan QR code posted by room 233 and 113.

Senior Lunches: Seniors are encouraged to spend their lunch with the counselors on Wednesdays to get help on college and career applications or any other questions they may have. We’re here to help!

Mock Trial: Interviews for the Mock Trial team are this week. If you didn't have a chance to attend the informational meeting and you'd still like to be on the team, see Mr. Wilkerson in room 129.

Gay-Straight Alliance: We will meet on 9/21 at 2:10pm in room 131.

Kpop: If you are a fan of Kpop, or want to be, then join Kpop Club! We meet every Wednesday after school in room 141. Stop by and see what all the fuss is about.

Fundraisers: There is a Booster Dine Out Night on 9/21 at the Maxtown Panda Express, and Football Dine Out Nights at Skyline on 9/27Maxtown Chipotle on 10/11, and Rusty Bucket on 10/18

Astronomy Club: We'll have officer elections in Astronomy Club after school on 9/21 in room 238. If you didn't decide to run until after you submitted the survey, talk with Mr. Johnston ASAP.

Scholarships: Seniors interested in applying for the Heisman High School Scholarship can see information posted to the 2023 Schoology course. Deadline is 10/18. Check out SchooLinks for national scholarships, and also check out the Scholarship Newsletter. 

Hispanic Heritage Month: Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated 9/15-10/15.  Former President George W. Bush expanded Hispanic Heritage Week to Hispanic Heritage Month in 1994.  

Cheerleading: Basketball cheerleading tryout clinics are on 10/10 at 6:30pm, and 10/14 at 9:30am. The tryout will be on 10/14 at 1pm. Click here for more information.

Colleges & Universities: University of Virginia's Virtual Event Series is from 9/15-10/15r. Otterbein's visit day is 10/4 at 8:30am. Join us on a college tour of University of Akron and Kent State. These are the 6 top-ranked Liberal Arts Colleges: Amherst, Bowdoin, Carleton, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams.
