Cherrington Elementary School students donated 279 pounds of Halloween candy to troops overseas. The fifth grade collected the 11 boxes of sweet treats and gave them to Dr. Anna Warnock as part of her buy-back program. The $279.00 was then returned to Dr. Warnock to help pay for the shipping of the candy to troops.
