The students and staff at the Educational Options for Success (EOS) program kicked off their monthly celebrations of unique national recognition days with National Pepperoni Pizza Day on Sept. 20.

To mark the occasion, EOS provided pizza for the Academic Enrichment Center community.

“Our goal is to continue to build upon the strong culture and climate at the AEC while making connections with students and staff,” said Nick McIlwain, Director of Assessment and Alternative Education.

EOS takes an alternative approach to the traditional school, providing opportunities for students to get back on track or to accelerate credit attainment.

Next month’s celebration: fried bologna sandwiches during National Bologna Day on Oct. 25.
