Niche, one of the largest content startups in the country, has ranked all three high schools in Westerville as being among the best in the State of Ohio.  Westerville Central placed 49th; Westerville South 80th; and Westerville North 100th

A high ranking in Overall Experience generally indicates that:

  • Students are very happy with their experiences in all aspects, including academics, teachers, health, safety, resources, facilities, extracurriculars, sports, and fitness;
  • The school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes;
  • The school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture; and
  • Students are actively involved in a variety of extracurriculars and sports the school offers.

Niche evaluated 14,431 high schools from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.  The research was based on dozens of key statistics and 4.6 million opinions from 280,000 students and parents.  Factors assessed included academics, health and safety, student culture and diversity, survey responses, teachers, resources, facilities, extracurriculars, sports and fitness.
