High Schools bring in more than $38,000 for Caring & Sharing

The holiday season will be brighter for many local families who are struggling this year, thanks to the efforts of students and staff in the Westerville City School District.  When totals were tallied on Friday, December 13, the charity received $38,209 to help needy families in the community.  Westerville Central High School led the pack by raising a whopping $19,278.  Key Club advisor Jennifer Horn coordinated the effort.  Westerville North brought in $8,800, led by Key Club advisor Kyleigh Bishop.  And Student Council advisor Beth Eddy at Westerville South inspired students and staff to add another $10,131 to the mix.  The mission of Caring & Sharing is to encourage individuals, businesses, civic, church and school groups in the Westerville area to care for the less fortunate and to share their resources of time, funds and energy.
