The Westerville South High School girls’ volleyball team participated in the 2nd annual Premier Design Jewelry fashion runway show on August 24.  The fashion show serves as a fundraiser for the team as well as a community service opportunity.  Premier Design consultant Sharon Freeman offered to give 100% of the profits back to the team.  The players were able to raise $1,162.55 for their program and were eligible for free jewelry.  The team earned 32 necklaces valued at approximately $1,052, and they donated the jewelry to the Westerville Area Resource Ministry (WARM).  WARM was chosen because of the program they offer that helps get women back on their feet and back into the work force.  The players thought each woman who came in for assistance could receive a necklace to wear to interviews.  Initial contacts were made with WARM representative Lynda Chambers, who accepted the jewelry on behalf of the organization.  Top seller was senior Madison Russell.
