The Westerville Central Girls Soccer team recently organized a fundraising game for the local Ronald McDonald House (RMH). People who attended the Central vs. North soccer game on September 17 were asked to bring a household item to donate to RMH. The senior girls on Central’s team spearheaded this effort through flyers and signs distributed the week prior to the game. More than 900 items were donated the night of the game, and close to $200 in cash was collected. Coach Devon Cannon and approximately 20 players visited the Ronald McDonald House to present the donation and tour the facility. The girls were very impressed with the wonderful organization and hope to make this an annual tradition.
