The Westerville South High School Instrumental Music Boosters, Westerville Central Band Boosters, Westerville North Athletic Boosters and Westerville South Theater Boosters have all been nominated to participate in the Chase Community Giving Program for a chance to earn part of $5 million being donated to worthy causes. To do so, they need votes. The voting period runs from September 6, 2012 to September 19, 2012.

There are two ways to vote. Chase customers with a Chase online account will receive two votes on www.ChaseGiving.com. In addition, Facebook users who allow “Access” will receive two votes on the Chase Community Giving application on Facebook. Each vote must be cast for a different Eligible Nominated Charity. The 196 Eligible Nominated Charities who receive the most valid votes as determined by Chase will receive a grant as described below. The National Program grant recipients will be announced on or about September 20.

Chase will donate the $5 million to the 196 Eligible Nominated charities as follows:
  • $250,000 to the charity receiving the most votes;
  • $100,000 to the next 10 runners-up;
  • $50,000 to the next 35 runners-up;
  • $20,000 to the next 50 runners-up; and
  • $10,000 to the next 100 runners up.
