North Students Philip Alston and Jeremiah Keene Sign Letters of Intent to Play Basketball

Longtime friends and teammates Jeremiah Keene and Philip Alston decided to sign their Letters of Intent in a double ceremony. 

 

 

 

Friends, family members, teammates, coaches, teachers, and administrators gathered in the Westerville North High School Media Center on Tuesday afternoon, April 23, to watch and celebrate as student athletes Philip Alston and Jeremiah Keene signed Letters to Intent to continue playing basketball and studying at the collegiate level.

Alston, a scholar athlete who has received numerous athletic and academic awards, will attend the California University of Pennsylvania on a basketball scholarship, where he will major in Dentistry.  He has volunteered extensively in his church and throughout the community.

Keene will attend Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee, where he plans to study Business.  At North, this scholar athlete was a four-year basketball starter, second all-time leading scorer, and first all-time leader in assists.
