Westerville North Standout Students Solidify Post High School Plans

Westerville North High School student athletes Caden Crist and Adam Stefanelli recently signed Letters of Intent to continue their education and athletic careers at the collegiate level. 

Crist’s signing ceremony took place on Wednesday afternoon, May 1.  He will continue his wrestling career at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.  Crist currently holds a 5.0625 GPA and ranked fifth in his class. He has received a number of academic and athletic honors.  Extracurricular activities include football, wrestling, Lacrosse, class officer, Leadership Summit, WALT member, Junior Mentor, Superintendent Advisory Committee, Student Section Leader, Safety Leadership Team, Astronomy Club and Warrior2Warrior tutor.  He volunteers for Neighborhood Bridges and plans to double major in Computer Science and Mathematics in college.

Stefanelli’s signing ceremony was held on Tuesday afternoon, May 7.  He will attend Trine University in Angola, Indiana, to study civil engineering and play baseball.  Stefanelli is a three-year starter for Coach Sean Ring’s Warriors, who earned All-OCC Buckeye Special Mention recognition following his junior season.  He was a seven-year member of the Columbus Sharks travel baseball program under Coach Mike Pallaci, and will play for Ohio Independence this summer.  He is also a three-year letter winner in soccer and is a member of the National Honor Society and Warrior Athletic Leadership Team (WALT).
