Noah Holyfield, Matt Charleston, Marissa Banks, and Charles Cartwright spoke with students at Westerville South
Once again, recent graduates from all three Westerville high schools returned to their alma maters to speak as part of The Ohio State University’s College of Engineering Hometown Ambassadors Program. Students in Introduction to Engineering Design classes at all three buildings, as well as pupils in South’s Materials Science Engineering course, learned about the engineering profession, potential educational pathways, professional engineering organizations, and life on OSU's campus. In addition to the presentations, alumni brought examples of tools or items either created or used in their college engineering classes. Alumni who talked with students included:
- Charles Cartwright (Civil Engineering), Marissa Banks (Industrial Systems Engineering), Mary Grace Sylvester and Matthew Charleston (Mechanical Engineering), Noah Holleyfield (Engineering Physics), and Emma Zglinicki (Biomedical Engineering) at Westerville South;
- Matt Gambill (Chemical Engineering) at Westerville North; and
- Grant Chudik (Biomedical Engineering), John Minor (Chemical Engineering), Holden Ruegger (Mechanical Engineering) at Westerville Central.
