Retired educator Jeff Brenning addressed students at Heritage Middle School.

Heritage Middle School students and staff were treated to a message entitled “Label Maker” by retired Westerville teacher and coach Jeff Brenning, during their September Lunch and Learn.  Each month Heritage focuses on one of the Westerville Way words.  This month, Respect was the theme for many school wide initiatives, which included daily video announcements, a collection of cereal for WARM, a Live Your Quote contest, and weekly goal setting and reflection during Flashback Friday.  Students have focused on respect to self, others, community and the world.  Brenning’s message was the perfect culmination for the month.  The Huskies are now gearing up for October’s Word of the Month, Citizenship.
