The Westerville City School District, in partnership with local first responders, will be conducting a state-required Full Scale Safety Drill on Friday, Oct. 14. The exercise will occur on and around the grounds of Westerville Central High School, Alcott Elementary School, and a nearby church property in Genoa Township. The activity is scheduled to begin at approximately 8 a.m. and conclude at approximately noon. If you happen to be in the area on Friday, Oct. 14, and see what appears to be a crisis situation unfolding, please do not be alarmed.
