Hey Jags, do you know which state is farther north - Nevada or Montana? Or Do you know which ocean is NOT crossed by the Equator?  To check your answers, just ask your Social Studies teacher for a copy of the Geography Bee Toolkit.  This January Genoa will once again be participating in National Geographic’s Geography Bee. You can get a jump start now with the Geography Bee Toolkit.  Ask your Social Studies teacher today for your copy. And remember, "Without geography, you're nowhere!"

Ski & Board Club Members, please remember to come to the office during your grade-level seminar tomorrow for your Snow Trails pass picture.

Instead of playing with an app, why not learn how to MAKE one!? Don’t forget there’s another way you can raise money for Chromebooks in Study Hall! For a limited time, if you sign up to any Code Coaching at theCoderSchool, half of the proceeds of the first month will be donated directly to the Chromebook fund. Be sure to check them out TODAY at westerville.thecoderschool.com or call 614.392.2499 to learn more about how you (or your student) can learn valuable critical thinking and life skills. Not sure? Sign up for a free class!

Do you need service hours and/or do you have an hour to spare to help the Genoa PTSA? To ensure a smooth plant delivery, we could use a few more helping hands on Thursday, 11/21. Here is the link to the sign-up:

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0a4babaa2aa4f85-fundraiser Thank you!

So far, we have only collected about a thousand cans for the WARM Meat Drive. If we want to reach our goal, like we did last year, then we need to bring in 7,000 cans. If each of our seminars bring in at least 150 cans alone, we have the potential to surpass our goal from last year (which was a huge success)! Be sure to keep bringing in cans until Friday, November 22nd. We can do this Jags!
