Now a look at Jag sports -

The Cross Country Teams traveled to 3 Creeks Metropark in Columbus on Saturday to compete in the Central Ohio Cross Country Invitational. The boys team won the meet with Donovan J. finishing 1st place overall in a time of 11:50. Noah G. came in 4th followed by Parker T. in 5th, Logan B., 11th, Gabe N., 13th, Gavin B., 14th and Ryan N. rounding out our top 7 scorers in 15th place. The girl’s team had an amazing race also taking 3rd place. Leading the team was Tiffany Z., finishing in 8th place overall with a time of 13:56. She was followed by Alexia R. finishing 16th, Ellia L., 23rd, Krislynn B., 33rd, Morgan B., 42nd, Ella M., 47th and Laney M., 54th.  Abby B. also finished in the top 5 of our girls team but was not scored. Abby lost her shoe on the course and even though she carried it to the end of the race, her timing chip did not register when she crosses the finish line. All in all a pretty great day to be a Jaguar!!!!

The Girls Tennis Team has been in full swing these last few weeks. The team has taken on Marysville, Delaware Dempsey, Olentangy, Upper Arlington, Pickerington Lakeview and over the weekend a Doubles Tournament in Pickerington. Every match is a battle including 3 singles court matches, and multiple doubles court matches. The girls fight hard for every point and every game. Congratulations on a fun season thus far. Keep up the hard work!

All proceeds will be going to Susan G. Koman for the cure. See you Wednesday in your pink!

Wouldn’t it be great if you were able to complete online homework such as Aleks or Schoology during one of your 27 study halls? We think so, too! You can help by selling those Foertmeyer & Sons plants because the PTSA will donate a portion of this and other fundraisers to help raise funds toward the Chromebook goal! The more we raise, the more we can help. The Who-ville plant is so classic and the reindeer feed bag is adorable! Both would make great gifts. Hear from a happy customer: Mrs. VanHuffel says, “I loved my reindeer feed bag last year! I hung it on my mailbox and it was so cheery!” Sell those plants, folks! Not only might you win a pizza party for your Seminar class and Kona Ice for the entire school, you could also help get several Chromebooks in Study Hall! Don’t have a packet? Stop in the office TODAY! Questions? E-mail fundraising.genoa@gmail.com.

Attention Jag Families, The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we earn cash for our school.  A NEW-and-improved, user-friendly Box Tops mobile app will allow the school to earn cash digitally by scanning your receipt containing participating products. Please download the app from the App store or Google Play. Look for a flyer coming home with your child sometime this week. If you still have traditional Box Tops at home, continue to clip them . We will continue to earn cash for all traditional clipped Box Tops until they expire.  Also, currently you can “double-dip” during the packaging transition by clipping traditional Box Tops AND scanning your store receipt. Please have all clipped boxtops into school by Oct 17th.

Are you excited for Jags night out? All the fun will be happening Friday, September 20th, 2:45-5:00 pm!
