Westerville students, families, staff and community members are invited to a virtual African-American Read-In featuring Marilyn Nelson, an award-winning author, poet and educator at 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 26.
Nelson will talk about how to write about tough topics and will dive into her writing process. She will share some of her poems as well.

Login for younger students (grades K-3) begins at 9:30 a.m. Students in grades 4 and older and their families can log in at 10 a.m. to hear Nelson’s talk.
