Westerville City Schools students will be featured during The Arts Council of Westerville’s sold-out WesterBall 2022 event on Feb. 26 at The Point at Otterbein University.
Drama Club students from Blendon Middle School will perform a scene and a song from their upcoming production of Matilda The Musical JR. based on Roald Dahl’s beloved book, “Matilda.”
Other performances feature drummers and ukulele players from Emerson Elementary’s music classes and Westerville South High School’s choir group, Soundsation.
Girls Scout Troop 2388, which includes students from Blendon, Walnut Springs and Heritage middle schools, will run interactive activities at WesterBall.
WCSD students who take classes at local dance studios will also participate in a dance “flash mob.”
The event also features an art gallery with works from students at Alcott and Whittier elementaries; Genoa, Heritage and Walnut Springs middle schools; and Westerville Central High School.
