The Westerville Area Chamber's 35th Annual Fundraiser, traditionally known as the Evening of Elegance, will be pivoting again this year from an in-person gathering to a virtual auction experience: WeCARE 2.0 - your Westerville Chamber Advocating for Resources and Education.
The virtual auction starts at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 and will run until noon Sunday, Nov. 21. It will feature an auction, exciting raffles, and more. In addition to viewing a variety of items and packages on the chamber’s virtual ClickBid platform, bidders can also follow along via social media for interactive opportunities and prizes.
“We pivoted from the annual in-person Evening of Elegance at the time our local health systems were in crisis due to the impact of the pandemic on their teams and resources,” Chamber President and CEO Janet Tressler-Davis said. “Not knowing how long the surge would continue, we needed to decide in order to have time to execute the event.”
“The auction will still provide Chamber members and other businesses the opportunity to promote their businesses and their brand,” she said. “We believe those that choose to participate will not be disappointed.”
