Neighborhood bridges launch fifth annual “Fundies” drive

Neighborhood bridges — in collaboration with the City of Westerville, Neighbor2Neighbor, Roush Honda and Re/Max Affiliates — is kicking off the annual “Fundies” drive to support Westerville City School District students in need.  

Now in its fifth year, Westerville residents, civic organizations, and businesses can donate undergarments (underwear and socks) that are provided as a part of neighborhood bridges personal care pantries located in more than 20 school buildings in Westerville.  The annual “Fundies” and personal care pantries drive supports more than 2,000 WCSD students each year.

From Sept. 7 to Sept. 17, residents can drop off donated items at any neighborhood bridges donation centers:

  • Roush Honda, 100 W. Schrock Road

  • Westerville City Hall, 21 S. State Street

  • ReMax Affiliates, 570 N. State Street

Neighborhood bridges is asking residents to donate as follows so that they have donated items for all children in need:

  • Last name starting with A-F: Young girl’s sizes (S, M, L, XL)

  • Last name starting with G-L: Women’s sizes (S, M, L, XL)

  • Last name starting with M-R: Young boy’s sizes (S, M, L, XL)

  • Last name starting with S-Z: Men’s sizes (S, M, L, XL) 


The organization is also accepting monetary donations to help keep their personal care pantries stocked during the 2021-22 school year.  Scan the QR code or click on the following link to make a donation:
