WCSD students recognized in Ohio PTA Reflections awards

Students in seven Westerville schools received top honors in the 2020-21 Ohio PTA Reflections award program, which recognizes student achievement in literature, music, dance, film production, photography, music composition and visual arts. Five students who earned Awards of Excellence honors will move on to the national competition.

The theme for this year’s competition is “I Matter Because…” This year’s state winners include:

  • Capri Burky, Alcott 

    • Dance Choreography, Award of Outstanding Achievement

  • Liliana Ceresa, Robert Frost

    • Photography, Honorable Mention

  • Emma Combs, Emerson 

    • Dance Choreography, Honorable Mention

  • Noah Combs, McVay

    • Literature, Honorable Mention

    • Music Composition, Award of Excellence

  • Fraser Hartnell, McVay 

    • Literature, Award of Outstanding Achievement

  • Anna McCracken, Emerson 

    • Film Production, Award of Excellence     

  • Athen Oakes, Cherrington 

    • Specialist Artist Photography, Award of Excellence

    • Special Artist Film, Award of Excellence

    • Special Artist Visual Art, Award of Outstanding Achievement

  • Grace Rodstrom, Heritage

    • Literature, Award of Excellence

  • Samantha Stapleten, Mark Twain

    • Photography, Award of Excellence
