Genoa Students Excel at 2014 Central Ohio Invention Convention Competition

Several Genoa Middle School students represented Westerville City Schools in the 2014 Central Ohio Invention Convention Competition, which was held on May 17 at Columbus State Community College.  Out of more than 300 students competing in this year’s competition, three middle school winners were from Westerville City Schools.  

Zach Glorioso took second place in the 7th grade division for his Baggage Buddy invention, and Patrick Sullivan took first place in the 7th grade division with his invention, The Sleep Stoplight.  Also recognized was Kyra Freeman, whose invention, called The Arthur Gloves, earned her first place in the 8th grade division.
