State Reflection Winners Honored by Westerville Board of Education

Students who received accolades at the State contest were recognized by the Westerville City Schools Board of Education on Monday evening, April 14.  They were presented by Westerville Parent Council representatives Lisa Wood and Kristen Buckley.  They are:

  • Jenna Benedict, Alcott, Honorable Mention, Primary Literature
  • Landon Bailey, Wilder, Honorable Mention, Photography
  • Elizabeth O'Connell, Alcott, Honorable Mention, Visual Arts
  • Max Pike, Walnut Springs, Honorable Mention, Visual Arts
  • Daniel Dewey, Mark Twain, Award of Merit, Literature
  • Gracen Hunley, Mark Twain, Award of Merit, Dance
  • Janie Lee Nickel, Genoa, Award of Merit, Dance
  • Patti Doud, Walnut Springs, Award of Merit, Literature
  • Antonio Bellini, McVay, Award of Excellence, Photography
  • Alexandre Hedrick, McVay, Award of Excellence, Film

The work of Bellini and Hedrick was selected to advance to the national contest.  Results are expected next month.
